Phillip Justin Fowler, 57, of Laurel was called home to be with the Lord December 31, 2025 at Billings Clinic after years of suffering from kidney failure. He was born February 26, 1968 in Lewistown, Montana to Curtis and Edith (Knerr) Fowler. On May 21, 2023, Phil was saved. Ronnie Potter baptized him in a horse trough. (Later Phil explained the water was quite chilly !) He was so grateful to turn his life around that he joined No Walls in Laurel. Phil shared his experience and God’s word, encouraging people to change their lives and turn their hearts to God. He would sincerely ask how you were doing and went above and beyond to help others. Phil built ‘Low-rider’ bikes for kids in the neighborhood and taught his grandchildren firearm safety and things they will use the rest of their lives… Phil enjoyed photography, concerts, movies, shooting and throwing darts. Most of all, Phil enjoyed making others happy. He liked adventures which led him to many places including living in Australia for a time. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gordon and Hazel Fowler, Meridith and Collen Knerr, his parents, brother Glen and a daughter Sydney. Left to cherish Phil’s memory is his souldmate Pam; children Nick (Amber) Fowler, Brian Fowler, Caryl (Mike) Basham and Jennifer (John) Kirchhevel; siblings Clint (Dorothy) Fowler, Sherra (Marty) Dah, Carl (Stacy) Fowler, Tommy (Donna) Harrell; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
We loved together
We laughed together
We cried together
“Thank you for all the Joys and Happiness”
“Happy Trails my love, until we meet again…”
